The event brings together music enthusiasts, local artists and community leaders to celebrate kindness, heritage and connection, Nkosi Dlamini, Founder of Cloud Radio says of the event.

During the festival, Dlamini has the opportunity to interview some of the talented artists on the lineup, including Firdyyy, who is managed by Losh Persie, Jangalala (NML Brand), Niche Konnect, and Oro_sa, says the station.

Nkosi Dlamini also collaborates with Soweto Book Cafe, where 21 children participated in a book drive event hosted by the cafe, adds the station.


The Trackside Live Creative event happens on Saturday, 3 October at Orlando Soweto, located in a space that was formerly a funeral parlor, which they've transformed into a thriving hub of art and expression opposite Phefeni train station. The event features live music performances, workshops, art exhibitions and community engagement, showcasing local vendors, artists and creative entrepreneurship. Trackside Creative has partnered with organisations like In Place of War and Africa Express to promote cultural activism and sustainability, concludes the station.
